ABOUT
Mary Claire is a theatre artist in training, specializing in scenic design and carpentry, with additional focus in stage management. Currently pursuing a degree in theatre, her work emphasizes collaborative design processes, structural storytelling, and practical construction techniques for the stage.
Her experience includes master carpentry while serving as the crew head, assisting in scenic designs for academic productions, as well as stage managing. Through hands-on shop work and production assignments, she has developed skills in drafting, build execution, tool safety, and scenic problem-solving.
As an emerging designer and technician, she is interested in the intersection of design concept and physical construction, with a particular passion for translating ideas into durable, expressive scenic environments.
